I work in partnership with Human Resources, executives, and other key decision-makers to create a program that will increase employee productivity and morale while decreasing sick days and a felt lack of work-life balance."

HR execs are given a tough mandate: Improve employee health and wellness in a way that boosts the bottom line. Oh, and do this with a workforce who believe overwork is rewarded, who feel so time-pressured they either skip meals or wolf takeout at the computer, and who've seen enough wellness initiatives fizzle that they'd rather hide in the copy room than try something new. I've lived this from both sides, and I know how to craft programs that draw participation, engage employees, improve performance and morale, and create healthy behaviors that stick for good. Let's empty that copy room.


Wellness initiatives can be off-putting for people who equate nutrition and yoga with trendy diets and skinny women in spandex. My programs are about simple eating and movement practices that work for everyone, regardless of age, gender, fitness level or background. 


Why so serious? This isn't dental hygiene; it's something everyone was born to love: food and movement. If it's not fun, people aren't going to do it. When healthy food tastes good, and when getting up and playing feels even more delicious, wellness becomes a "get to" and not a "have to."


No program is going to last if it doesn't work. Metrics for success are built into my programs from the get-go. No flying blind. You'll know if your employees are feeling more knowledgable, engaged, focused and productive, if they are more positive about their workplace, and if they are sick or absent less often.
