"You can have the best diet in the world, but if you’re not up and moving too, then you’re not moving towards your health goals."
Personal and Group Training
Last night, emails and Youtube carved into the first half of your night and a racing mind woke you up too early. Today you ate nothing but a Frappuccino and a cereal bar, and this while in line at daycare. Your butt is married to your office chair, but it cheats with your driver's seat. Your shoes are tight, your mind is tight, your body is tight. The only thing that's loose is what's left of your muscles!
Oh my gosh have I been there. And here's what people would have you think: You can't be healthy and put in the hours for a successful career. You can't have a good-for-you meal unless it's vegan/macro/keto/clean or whatnot. You can't live a hectic modern life and feel calm, strong and full of life. Unless you turn it around and become an Instagram model, all is lost. You need the perfect diet and hours at the gym to be healthy — and it's gonna be a slog.
I call B.S. on that. Our culture overcomplicates some remarkably simple things. Food and movement are natural and enjoyable parts of our lives. You can make some completely doable changes that will revitalize your life while still leaving you your lifestyle. Whether you want to work on your fitness, your nutrition or (even better) both, I can help you gain the clear, simple knowledge and skills to eat and move in a way that supports your health — and, best of all, is never a bore or a chore.
FITNESS. NUTRITION. OR BOTH.
Training customized for your goals and lifestyle
As a corporate wellness trainer, registered dietitian, and fitness instructor, I'm lucky to draw upon many areas of expertise to help individuals and groups achieve their health goals. Why so many areas? Because a few charmed people achieve short-term results with one fad, fix, or extreme hobby...but most don't. As a yoga instructor, you can say I'm all about balance. And building long-term health is all about balancing healthy food, enjoyable movement, and simple mind-body practices that swap stress for — ahhh — peace.
